Moonstone Wrap Ring - Size 7.5

This handmade ring holds a beautiful Moonstone.  It is set in .999 fine silver, "wrapped" within heavy gauge .925 Sterling silver.  The setting is very unique in that the heavy Sterling wire wraps around the stone.  The size is 7.5, and  is very comfortable.
 
About the stone: The name moonstone derives from the stone's characteristic visual effect, called adularescence (or schiller), which produces a milky, bluish interior light. This effect is caused by light diffraction through alternating layers of orthoclase and albite within the stone. The diffracted light varies from white to blue, depending on the thinness of the albite layers.
