Nevada No 8 Mine Turquoise Bolo Tie

This hand-crafted pendant is made with .999 Fine silver that has been hand sawed into the shape of the State of Nevada. Then it's hand hammered to add texture to add texture. The mountain scape was hand cut and textured with patina applied to the silver above the mountains.  The star represents the Battle Born State motto. The 40" braided cord is leather with Sterling end caps
 
The turquoise set in the bolo is from Nevada's Number 8 mine.  Number 8 turquoise is considered one of the great classic American turquoise mines.  The mine is in the Lynn Mining District in Eureka County, Nevada, just north of Carlin.
