Ring-Turquoise-Size 9

This handmade ring holds a beautiful piece of handcut Pilot Mountain Turquoise.  It is set in .999 fine silver, surrounded by .925 sterling silver beading.  The setting and the band have been patina'd to bring out the color of the stone and the pattern on the ring band.  The total depth is a little over 1" and the width, at the widest point, is a bit over a 1/2".  The size is a 9, and the thicker band is very comfortable.
 
About the Turquoise:  The Pilot Mountain Turquoise Mine is located in western Nevada. It first began as a copper mine. Soon after it was realized that the Turquoise found there was extremely high quality and more fertile than the copper. Copper mining ceased and the mine was claimed for mining Turquoise instead. Pilot Mountain Turquoise is known world wide for it vast array of colors and quality
