Owyhee Blue Opal Bolo Tie

This hand crafted bolo tie is made using .999 Fine silver.  The .999 silver back plate was hammered with texture and hand sawed with a unique design.  The stone in this bolo tie is an Owyhee Blue Opal (OH-WAH-hee). It is a rich pale blue form of common Opal recently discovered near the sacred Indian springs at Owyhee, Oregon. It often changes from transparent blue to opaque blue on exposure to air as the water content evaporates. It is also known to be called a Denim Opal.   The size of the bolo is about 1-1/2 x 1-1/2”.  The cord is 36” of braided white leather ending in sterling silver tips.  The clasp on the back is a stainless steel tension clasp, designed to not mar the leather cord.
 
Spiritual properties:  It is an ideal stone for those that need to communicate information and guidance received from a higher dimensional source and is helpful to communicate one’s thoughts, ideas and feelings to others.  The blue Opal allows one to speak with clarity and confidence drawing on one’s personal power to gently obtain one’s goals in a calm, positive focused manner.
