Turquoise Silver Necklace

The rings this necklace are made of .999 Fine silver.  Each ring is connected with a small brass ring.  The focal point of the necklace, a large piece of Number 8 mined turquoise, is set in .999 Fine silver.  The length of the chain portion of the necklace adjusts from 16" or 18”.

Number 8 Turquoise is considered one of the great classic American turquoise mines. It is in the Lynn Mining District in Eureka County, Nevada, just north of Carlin. The first claim was filed in 1929 by Earl Buffington and Lawrence Springer and thereafter several well-known turquoise miners owned the mine.
