Wild Horse Magnesite Bolo Tie

This hand crafted bolo tie is made using .999 Fine silver and .925 Sterling.  The back plate has a matte finish.  The stone in this bolo tie is a beautiful piece of Wild Horse Magnesite.   The size of the bolo is about 1" x  2".  The brown, braided leather cord is approximately 40” that ends sterling silver tips.  The clasp on the back is a stainless steel tension clasp, designed to not mar the leather cord.
 
About the stone: Wild Horse is the marketing name for a new kind of magnesite from the Gila Wilderness Area in Southern Arizona. Rich chocolate brown is actually the matrix in this new magnesite with antique white as the magnesite's color. This new magnesite was discovered near Globe, Arizona while mining for other minerals.
